Choosing the right tutor is an important decision. Our 30-minute Family Fit Consultation gives us an opportunity to learn more about your child, understand what you're looking for, and determine whether The Custom Tutor can provide the right support.

During our conversation, we'll talk about:

  • Your child's strengths, challenges, and learning profile

  • What you're currently seeing at home and/or at school

  • Your goals for tutoring or executive functioning support

  • What you've tried in the past

  • How The Custom Tutor works with neurodivergent learners

  • Whether our approach and availability are a good match for your family

  • Recommended next step

A $25 consultation deposit is required to reserve your appointment. This fee is applied in full toward your child's first tutoring or coaching session if you decide to move forward with The Custom Tutor.

 

Because consultation appointments are reserved specifically for your family, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

 

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice may forfeit the consultation deposit. We understand that unexpected emergencies happen and will always use our best judgment in those situations.

We meet students in coffee shops to promote an informal atmosphere, allow our kids to enjoy a snack and teach executive functioning skills like focusing.
